Job Description
-
- Manages all project activities to ensure compliance with the project specifications, drawings, plans, works program, schedules, QA/QC, safety, and specific requirements as well as to achieve timely completion of the works, and within the allocated budget.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, consultants, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project implementation and maintain quality standards.
- Oversee project operations and construction processes to meet project objectives and goals.
- Lead the Project Team to ensure effective implementation and successful completion of construction projects.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and relevant required documentation for presentations.
- Conduct regular site visits to resolve issues and monitor progress.
- To implement all relevant policies, procedures, and work constructions as so defined in the Company’s Quality Management System.
- Coordinate budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and project progress.
- Provide advice and analysis on pre-construction feasibility studies, budgeting, and other aspects related to construction management for the Company.
- Review the project plans and specifications, building design, and scheduling.
- Resolves technical and operational issues as required.
- Lead and manage project closeout.
Requirements
-
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant field. Professional Engineer and PMP certification will be an added advantage.
- At least 10 – 20 years of construction project management or relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. MS Project, Excel, Word).
- Willingness to travel to support project activities.
