Main Responsibilities:

• To define the road maps and local strategies of the Air and Sea freight products according to global and regional strategies.
• To review pricing strategies and conduct profit margin analysis to maintain competitiveness.
• To negotiate rates contracts with vendors/ airlines/ carriers.
• To ensure the growth of local market for Air and Sea freight products, trade lanes and sector profitability, meet budget targets, identify value added projects and meet customer satisfaction.
• To provide competitive rates and present product value proposition to Sales & Marketing in accordance with the Air and Sea freight strategies.
• To analyse, evaluate and manage existing and new Air and Sea freight customer contracts.
• To develop strong relationships with regional and global partners, including the negotiation of terms.
• To participate in evaluating and deciding the local provider with compliance to all relevant regulatory requirements.
• To work closely with Operations, Sales & Marketing for the development of the freight sales pipelines.
• To perform any other tasks as and when required

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years of concrete working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Sound knowledge in Air and Sea freight business.
• Excellent ability to collect, read and understand figures, data and trends.
• Excellent ability to make effective analysis, discover gaps and define necessary actions.
• Results driven
• Excellent negotiation, planning and organisational skills.
• Good computer proficiency in MS Office
• Good written and verbal communication in English, and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must
• Proactive, meticulous, team player, initiative with positive work attitude
• Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
