Job Description
-
1. Regression Automation Testing
- Studying and analyzing the existing manual test cases.
- Prioritizing the test cases to be automated based on user inputs.
- Developing test scripts based on manual test cases.
- Deploying the test scripts to test environment and production environment for continuous usage.
- Maintaining test scripts based on changes
2. Performance and Load Testing
- Identifying key metrics of the system to be measured.
- Benchmarking the performance of current system and deriving the performance metrics.
- Developing test scripts to introduce enough loads and traffic to the system and comparing the results with the benchmark to identify any performance degradation.
- Deploying the test scripts to test environment and production environment for continuous usage.
- Maintaining the test scripts based on changes.
3. Process Improvement
- Participating in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test automation is promoted
- Evaluating existing automation tools and test scripts to further enhance them.
- Integrating the automation tools with CI/CD pipeline
Requirements
-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification and experience.
- Minimum 8 to 11 years working experience preferably in Software Development.
- Knowledge in Malaysian Capital Market (Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Islamic markets etc)
- Good knowledge in Test Automation framework (Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Soap, TestNG, Postman, Cucumber), Programming/Scripting Language (Java & Python).
