Job Description

This Manager is accountable for all people competency development programs in ROC/On-site Ops team in ASEAN, as well as key coordinator for Sustainable Development programs/activities deployment for ASEAN region.
Key Responsibilities:
Principal responsibilities
- Accountable for driving competency enhancement on ROC staff and ownership on the people competency roadmap for ROC in particular.
- Key person to work with the global COE on People competency lead role to implement/improve and enhance the overall people competency agenda in ROC, as well as for On-site Ops team for ASEAN region
- Responsible to deploy and roll out Linde People Competency agenda as and when required for ROC/On-site Ops in ASEAN.
- Responsible to maintain the current people competency programs in ROC/On-site Ops ASEAN (induction program/LiMSS/Tracess).
- Responsible to lead and drive sustainable development initiatives/programs in ASEAN region.
- Act as the subject matter expert on People Competency agenda and be the approved Trainer from ROC by default.
- Implement KPI system to monitor the people competency chapter, and lead and drive people competency programs
- Closely work with ROC Ops Managers and other regional functional heads particularly on people development/competency agenda
- Support process troubleshoot and conduct RCA on major plant issues due to ROC/site operations, and sharing of lesson learnt to prevent recurrence.
- Provide support on people agenda topics as requested by line manager
Key interfaces
- Internal – ROC, Regional Operations and APAC team, Cluster Heads of On-site Operations, Area Managers, regional people competency leads, CoE, regional and global sustainable development leaders/teams, Country & functional heads, etc
- External -Customers, consultants, vendors
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of 8-year experience in industrial gas operations/process as well as data and performance system
- Subject Matter Expert for industrial gases operations is an added advantage
- Subject Matter Expert on Sustainable Development topics/matters
- University degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial engineering
- Good knowledge and experience in the field of industrial gas operations (ASU/H2 SMR/CO2/N2 Gen).
Other Key Skills (functional/technical):
- Have in depth knowledge in Industrial gas operations
- Have passion in providing trainings and sharing of technical skillset to the relevant participants
- Have some knowledge of Instrumentation Process Control system knowledge, data and plant performance system would be an added advantage
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have good people skill in managing small group of team
- Computer literate (Windows/Office)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
