Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for the planning and implementation of quality control activities, including documentation (eg. work instruction, inspection reports, check lists).
To formulate and execute test plans and test cases based on internal specifications, customer feedback and requirements.
To perform validation and compliance test prior to every software release as part of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
To test and evaluate new hardware for qualification as standard products.
To certify the quality of on-going products and systems to ensure the acceptability, usability, and customer satisfaction.
Work closely with team leaders and application teams to fulfil test requirements.
Work closely with various team to ensure timely delivery for both testing and requirement analysis.
Work closely with developers to analyze and find the root cause of bug, and support other departments to deal with production issues.
Effectively utilise the defect tracking system and quality assurance tools for tracking quality reports and returns with internal teams and external supply chains.
To provide feedback to development team for continuous system improvement.
Achieve quality control KPI and daily/ weekly/ on-demand report to the Leader.
Any ad-hoc task assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Knowledge:

Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.

Skills:

Able to communicate with people at all levels including technical and non-technical audiences.
Good command of verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Logical & analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
Proactive, friendly, and positive personality.
Highly motivated, result oriented and a team player.
Meticulous with high attention to details.
Good time management skills.
Understand product quality control and software testing concept and methodology.
Possess practical knowledge in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) will be an added advantage.
