Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To lead the project team, including project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project objectives and milestones.
  • Oversee the process of liaise and coordinate with local authorities, consultants, contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, ensure all technical and operation issues arising at project site and contractual disputes are resolved.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and oversee their implementation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure the necessary resources for project execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Present project reports, including progress reports, project planning, and risk assessments (to identifying potential threats, challenges, and uncertainties that could affect project objectives, timelines & budgets), to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all execution is in line with the company’s business model and direction.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior or Company.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural/Mechanical/ Architecture/Construction Management/ Quantity surveying and any similar qualification.
  • At least ten (10) years of working experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, building codes, and industry standards governing property development projects.
  • Able to speak in Malay/English, and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate and knowledge in Microsoft Office. (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
