Purpose of Role
The Marketing/Business Development Manager leads on planning and delivery of student recruitment activities to achieve enrolment and retention targets. The Manager is responsible for supporting the Campus Principal in matters relating to admissions and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide overall leadership, support, and operations of the Marketing & Promotion Department (student enrolment, business development, marketing communications, international collaboration digital marketing, branding initiatives, etc.) to meet the School’s business strategic goals.
2. Conduct market analysis on new marketing trends, competitors’ analysis, branding, marcomm activities, etc.
3. Plan for enrolment pipeline, manage enrolment activities, review sales performance as well as provide regular feedback, development opportunities, and coaching to people and resource management of the Marketing & Promotion Department.
4. Mentoring the team in their tasks and guiding them to achieve their monthly target.
5. Explore and bring to fruition relevant business opportunities and external collaboration for the Institution.
6. Establish strong profile for the Institution through strategic partnerships with relevant business entities, corporations, and government agencies.
7. Provide feedback to the senior management team on market trends and intelligence, competitive landscape and competitors’ analysis, pricing and growth strategy, marcom effectiveness, brand positioning, etc.
8. Handle any other tasks as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Degree in sales, customer service and/or business-related studies.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the private education industry.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Mandarin language is an added advantage.
  • Possess a strategic mindset with strong execution competency to meet Management’s expectations.
  • Significant experience in managing overall marketing functions and comfortable with student target-driven environment. This includes agent management.
  • Above average desktop computer skills with experience MS Excel, & Word.
