Job Description
-
- Develop mid-long term network facilities (BTS/Hub/TOC/DC power, space, battery backup, ancillaries) strategy roadmap, architecture and evolution for mobile/fixed networks
- Review and recommend enhancement to BTS/Hub/TOC design/operation/management to improve cost efficiency. E.g., optimize power efficiency and management
- Accountable for Long Range Plan and budget planning for BTS/hub/TOC power, space, battery backup, ancillaries etc.
- Ensure, review & revise optimum power, space design criteria and lead time to upgrade to cater for business growth needs.
- Develop and update policies, guidelines & specifications for BTS/Hub/TOC/DC. Ensure policies, guidelines & specifications and compliance with laws, safety & security requirements.
- Accountable for assessing/evaluating new technologies for facilities (power, battery backup, ancillaries etc.) & its technology eco-system and recommending the right technology for deployment at right time. Including formulating investment proposals for new technologies.
- Lead/support new business opportunities exploration and evaluation. Formulate views on opportunities and threats to the company’s business and recommend what’s possible
Requirements

- Bachelors Degree Specialised in: BSc in Electronics Engineering, BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering or BSc/BEng in Telecommunication or equivalent
- Total Relevant Experience: 7 to 10 years in mobile telecommunications
- Strong technical knowledge in radio access networks, such as RF optimisation, planning, architecture, solution and etc.
- With excellent data analytics skills coupled with strong proficiency in Microsoft (i.e, excel, powerpoint, word).
- Possesses a balanced holistic strategic view from technical, business, financial and marketing perspectives. Strong data analytical and technical solution ability.
