1. Develop Enterprise wide Architecture and Technology Roadmaps

• Responsible for the definition, design and interpretation of technical architecture artefacts taken from user requirements specifications or in direct discussions with the business, to create a solutions architecture to meet business requirements
• Define the target architectures, technology strategies and the roadmaps and timescales for these architectures to ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services across the Company whilst delivering the required business outcomes
• To play an active role in the full life cycle delivery of the technical solutions for Business projects from initial concept, requirements gathering, specification, design, delivery, acceptance and support the operationalization
• Deliver high quality implementation of the defined solution to facilitate realisation of organisational benefit.
• Develop and optimise the Infrastructure and Application landscape.
• Aid the SEVP in managing the appropriate governance forums to ensure the agreement and maintenance of the overall Enterprise Architecture of the Company and ensure that the process delivers strategic imperatives.

2. Drive adoption of New Technology – Cloud, Blockchain whilst ensuring Security of Organisation’s assets

• Offer technical guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including migrating complex, multi-tier applications on Cloud Platforms
• Work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud security and privacy
• Drive the adoption of Blockchain for Depository, Clearing and Settlement systems – proving technical viability through Proof-of-Concepts

3. Others

• Understanding technology product and vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences
