Job Description


Primarily responsibility of Digital Architect is to design, implement and govern Digital Architecture for Portals & Mobile Apps as well as Microservices covering all Maxis digital touchpoints in cloud. Digital Architect is expected to provide assessment in driving solution in bridging business requirements/needs with technical implementation. Digital Architect will be leading developers, working collaboratively with Enterprise Architects, PMO, TQA & IT Transformation Project Team & key stakeholders from Consumer Business, Sales & Services & Enterprise. Digital Architect’s scope of work encompasses Digital (Portals/Apps) architecture, solution, framework, UX design, development standards and to enforce industry best practices and tools, developing our next generation of Digital Experience.



  • Strongly involved in entire life-cycle and participate in agile scrum delivery process, working closely with stakeholders and developers as well as project team
  • Subject Matter Expert in Modern Portal Development Framework (AngularJS/ReactJS), Mobile Apps (iOS/Android), Microservices (NodeJS) and Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Ensure quality of deliverables, adhere to business architecture, data/information architecture, application architecture and technology architecture, security compliance of the systems based on technology trends and standards
  • Drive adoption of Agile DevOps framework like Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, etc. to improve quality and reliability of team’s deliverable
  • To lead through handling of pre and post-production issues related to applications and platforms
  • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity while supporting business units in new product and service initiatives.
  • Assist in technical/impact assessment of requirements to assess technical feasibility, and impacts to digital online platforms, jointly derive an acceptable solution together with stakeholders and architects.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related qualification
  • Possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of working experience, at least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in designing & implementing Digital Architecture for Digital Touchpoints
  • Strong acumen of web development framework (AngularJS/ReactJS), Mobile Apps (iOS/Android), Microservices (NodeJS), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and security
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS, Azure & GCP
  • Experience in high volume, self-service/e-commerce websites
  • Experienced in system process flow, SDLC, design + documentation, Agile-Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High initiative, ability to multi-task and a team player
  • Background in Telco will be an added advantage.
