Job Description

- Analyse audit analysis requirements and translate into audit automation design using applicable technologies e.g. data analytics, RPA, AI
- Develop, test, implement, operate and maintain data analytics and/or automation solutions using suitable tools or systems with satisfactory quality
- Liaise with stakeholders to obtain continuous data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain a suitable database platform for IA’s automation purposes
- Design and develop data reporting tools and processes for continuous assurance results, which include data visualization using related data visualization tools
- Follow-up with the business in ensuring that all identified internal control findings from continuous assurance results are remediated with appropriate actions
- Develop, test and implement advanced audit automation use cases and/or audit process re-engineering trial projects using related current technologies/methodologies and roll-out the feasible project outcomes to the whole team
- Implement and carry out adequate data governance activities to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of stored and processed data by the continuous assurance platform
- Provide technical support to the team and/or business counterparts in the areas of technical audit data analysis, automation and related tools/technologies as well as coaching the team on usage of those tools/technologies
- Work closely and build relationship with Stakeholders for ensuring effective continuous assurance service deliverables from Internal Assurance Division
- Provide consultative advice to Stakeholders by identifying and recommending value-added data analytics insights and approach
Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in IT/ Engineering / Computer Science. Data Science / Data Analytics Certifications will be an added advantage
- Total relevant experience in development of data analysis and/or database related systems not less than 4 years, preferably within internal or external audit environment
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and ETL techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL), programming languages (C#, .NET), SQL scripting, ETL platforms (e.g. MS SSIS), data reporting and visualization tools (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g. R, Python, Excel, ACL, IDEA, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in auditing multiple business areas
- Knowledge in ERP and business systems e.g. SAP, Oracle ERP, Data warehouse solutions etc.
