Job Description


Job Purpose:

Strategize, improve and manage the development and delivery of IT Platform initiatives and service improvement to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Development

  • Develop a strategic plan and budget projections based on short- and long-term objectives and opportunities to align with Group Technology and business strategy;
  • Lead enterprise cloud strategy and service delivery for new system builds on cloud and system migration project from the traditional on-premise system;
  • Lead architecture platform design for Data Centre and Cloud as well as ensuring ease of management and monitoring embedded into the operation team;
  • Manage the process of support the system including performance planning, capacity planning, continuity planning and implementation of security controls; and
  • Identify gaps / shortfalls / inefficiencies, recommend and develop improvements in system design, operations, processes and new capabilities and sharing information with management.

2. Operation Support & Implementation of Controls

  • Manage the SLA, periodic preventive maintenance, system capacity, bug fixes, patches and planned events to ensure high system availability;
  • Research, evaluate, design and test or plan the implementation of new and updated information technology software or services, and analyze its impact on the existing Environment;
  • Manage and coordinate operational incident management and reporting, acts as the subject matter expert to support on highly complex system related incidents, problems and security matters;
  • Develop and ensure SOP, Checklist and Asset Inventory are updated on a regular basis;
  • Manage and Implement Service and Change request from internal and external users;
  • Conduct solution, services and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Technology, added advantage if Certified in Cloud Services (AWS, CISCO, Microsoft, Google), Red Hat Certified Engineer and Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as IT support for a large sized organization, ideally in the financial services with 3-5 years of relevant experience in team lead and managing enterprise system vendors.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Windows, VMware, Red Hat Linux Operating system, RHEL, Ansible automation, Redhat Satellite, Enterprise Storage, Internetworking, IP Routing protocols, Wan/LAN/Internet Basic troubleshooting.
